From Bend Parks and Rec:
"This park, east of 27th Street on Darla Place was constructed through a development agreement with Palmer Homes.
A unique picnic shelter with a capacity of 15 is located next to the playground. Open lawn areas offering a shady meeting place and connections to local trails.."
My Comments:
This is a neat medium sized playground with a unique "tree hut".
It's a short walk to the playground--maybe long if you're carrying a little one and some gear.
This park lacks privacy. The neighboring houses also lack privacy. It's a strange urbanesque setting with houses on tiny lots substituting the park for more generously sized yards. It seems a little uncomfortable--like you're intruding on a private neighborhood park.
Safety for little ones:

Safety for little ones:
The playground is placed well back from a quiet street, but there are some sidewalks that lead between houses close to the playground. If you have a kid that likes to run off, you'll want to pay attention to these alternate exits.
Restrooms:
Seasonal Restrooms. Boo.
