Across the street from the main entrance to Shevlin Park is Aspen Hall and the adjoining trout pond.
It's a beautiful place. In fact Bend Parks & Recreation uses a photo of the bridge at one end of the pond as a banner picture on its website.
The pond (stocked by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife on these dates)is available for kids 17 and under, no fishing license required Limit 2 trout/day, minimum 8" long.

The Kokanee Karnival kids' fishing clinic is held here each April. Local fly fisherman help kids to learn the sport.
